IMDb celebrates the rise of actor Neeraj Kabi in the latest episode of “No Small Parts”
Neeraj Kabi, a self-taught actor’s actor, since his mainstream debut age 42, has been one of the most well regarded performers with powerful roles in Ship of Theseus (2012), and Talvar (2015). He is set to showcase his craft as a renowned media tycoon in the latest Amazon Prime Video series, Pataal Lok (2020). The latest episode of IMDb Originals ‘No Small Parts’ provides a glimpse into Neeraj Kabi’s journey through the world of entertainment.
Neeraj initially found success after his first film role in the Odia film Shesha Drushti (1997). While he struggled to find additional opportunities, Neeraj instead chose to immerse himself in his craft and kept his passion for acting burning bright through theatre performances and by teaching acting. Neeraj is known for intense and dark roles in movies like Monsoon Shootout (2013) and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015) and even for playing Mahatma Gandhi, not once but twice, in the TV mini-series Samvidhaan: The Making of the Constitution of India (2014) and in the film, Viceroy’s House (2017) .
