In Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, bandit Mangal Singh wants to marry ‘Bijli’, impersonated by Happu

It is often believed that life is 10 per cent of what happens to you and 90 per cent on how you respond to it. In the upcoming episode of &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) is going to experience something similar. He learns that a feared bandit, Mangal Singh who he had once arrested has served his jail term and is a free man now. But what sends chills down Happu’s spine is the fact that during his arrest, Mangal Singh had threatened to take revenge once he’s released. A scared Happu thinks and ways of means to save himself. Unable to seek advice from his family due to their big mouths, he immediately rushes to his confidante Benny (Vishwanath Chatterjee) and discusses the situation. After understanding the entire scenario, Benny tells Happu to disguise himself as a maid named Bijli as that was the easiest way to stay out of trouble. Now, this is where viewers will soon see Happu’s tragedy turn comedy when Mangal Singh comes home looking for him and instead meets Bijli and expresses his desire to marry her. How will Happu turn the situation in his favour will be worth watching.

Commenting on the catch-22 situation, Yogesh Tripathi says, “Happu always tries to escape one situation and with Benny’s advice ends up creating more trouble for himself. While Ammaji(Himani Shivpuri) and Rajesh (Kamna Pathak) were to save him, Ammaji’s village discussions catch Mangal Singh’s interest who came in search for Happu. However, he instantly falls for Bijli and speaks to Ammaji about her. It will be exciting to see how Bijli, aka Happu, evades from this situation and handles the proposal tactfully.”
