In Indian Indol 13’s “Celebrating Mukta Arts”, Subhash Ghai loves Debosmita Roy’s performance!

Sony Entertainment Television’s singing reality show, ‘Indian Idol – Season 13 will be ‘Celebrating Mukta Arts’ that was the first production house listed on stock exchange this Sunday at 8:00 PM. Joining in the celebrations will be none other than the Hindi entertainment industry’s ace director Subhash Ghai and his daughter Meghna Ghai making a special appearance on the show. The Top 12 contestants will be seen mesmerizing the judges Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar, and Vishal Dadlani along with the special guests who will be seen revealing some unknown trivia. Talking about the contestants, Debosmita Roy from Kolkata will be seen giving a melodious performance on the songs Ja Re Ja O Harjaayi (Kalicharan, 2010) & Tera Naam Liya (Ram Lakhan, 1988) creating magic on the set.
Impressed by her jaw-dropping performance, judge Vishal Dadlani shares, “You did not miss a single note in either of the songs which is not easy. Only a superhuman can perform two songs effortlessly live like this. This song is not easy to sing. Incredible singing, Debosmita.” An amazed Himesh Reshammiya adds, “The way you were living the song is commendable. Your struggle showed in your performance. I can confidently say that you can be this season’s winner.”
Amazed by Debosmita’s singing, Subhash Ghai will be seen sharing some unknown facts about the two songs. Spilling some beans of the popular song ‘Ja Re Ja O Harjaayi,’ he shares, “This was the first song I recorded. I learnt a lot from Kalyan ji and Anand ji. When Lata ji heard this song, she asked for the director, looked at me and blessed me.” There’s more! Talking about the song ‘Tera Naam Liya,’ he adds, “The idea of boys wearing saree in this song came only in the morning of the shoot day. That day, we didn’t have female dancers, so we thought of making the boys dance, made them wear a saree to make the song fun. Anil Kapoor was called from the hotel to join the dance.”
Not only this, but the boys including judge Vishal and host Aditya Narayan will be seen recreating the saree moment from the song ‘Tera naam liya.’
Making Mausam Musicana, the top 12 contestants Rishi Singh from Ayodhya, Bidipta Chakraborty, Anushka Patra, Debosmita Roy, Senjuti Das, Sonakshi Kar from Kolkata, Chirag Kotwal from Jammu, Vineet Singh from Lucknow, Rupam Bharnarhia, Navdeep Wadali from Amritsar, Shivam Singh, Kavya Limaye from Gujarat will sway the viewers off their feet this weekend on Indian Idol Season 13.
