In India’s Laughter Champion, Bhopali Haseeb Khan makes the judges laugh-out-loud!
Everyone knows of ‘#SoormaBhopali’ from the film ‘#Sholay’ but on Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘India’s Laughter Champion’, viewers will be witness to ‘#ComedykaSoormaBhopali’ #HaseebKhan from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The comedian who recently earned fame on the internet for his relatable jokes on relationships will be making judges #ArchanaPuranSingh and #ShekharSuman along with ‘#ComedyKASarpanch’ Padmashree Surendra Sharma and host Rochelle Rao laugh along with him for his rib-tickling comedy.
Performing about how he is essentially unemployed and has been dealt a bad deck of cards even when it comes to finding love, Haseeb Khan would make everyone laugh out loud. Post his performance Archana Puran Singh will be seen complimenting his performance by saying, “Haseeb, I loved your performance, your act on “I am Vella” was a mind-blowing concept which you should expand. The other act about “middle-class family” was very unique. You also capture the stage very well. You call yourself serious, but I would like to say that your smile is very cute! You laugh beautifully and make people laugh even more beautifully!”
Shekhar Suman will then compliment the artist about his performance’s innocence, “What I liked about your performance was that the innocence that we were talking about, you performed with that innocence. Your way of performing is different and very conversational. It felt like someone is having a conversation in the drawing-room and did not feel like a stage performance which makes you unique. You joked about things related to actual life. Humor isn’t that which we shout from rooftops, is over the top or makes you laugh forcibly. You had a casual and natural way of performing which was relatable to us. That would charm the viewers, and this is your USP.” Surendra Ji would complement him by only saying, “You are a black diamond!”
Talking about his experience on the show Haseeb Khan said, “I loved being on the show and making the judges laugh. Comedy is something that I cherish as a talent and I have been graced by god that I am able to perform in front of so many people and make them laugh. Sony TV and India’s Laughter Champion are platforms that know how to encourage good comedy and I hope that viewers are able to see India’s different flavors when it comes to this genre.”
Tune into India’s Laughter Champion, this weekend, at 9:30 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
