In KBC 13 Mr. Bachchan asks Shaan if he ever got the opportunity to spend some time with Kishore Kumar?

#SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s #KaunBanegaCrorepati13 is all set to brighten your Friday as the show brings together two renowned singers who have been an integral part of the Indian music industry – Shaan and Sonu Nigam. This week’s Shaandaar Shukravaar’s guests, Shaan and Sonu Nigam will be seen making your Friday melodious as they take charge of the hotseat and play the game along with the host Amitabh Bachchan. In the show, Mr. Bachchan will be seen asking Shaan if he ever got the opportunity to spend some time with the legend Kishore Kumar.

Replying to Mr. Bachchan, soulful singer Shaan shares, “Not many years, Amit ji, but I did spend an evening with him. It was my father’s (Manas Mukherjee) song and I think that was one of his last recordings. This is around 1986 in August-September when he was recording music for a Bengali film. He already had a cardiac arrest earlier, but he composed this song in the hospital and Kishore Da came to the studio to sing the song, even I had gone. I remember he was wearing a black silk lungi-kurta. The song got over and both of them were walking together under one umbrella. That is the day I realized that my father is someone! Kishore Da sang the song but the camaraderie… I don’t know what were they laughing about, but looking at them, seeing his hand over his (my father’s) shoulders was something. So, that day I realized that my father is also a huge personality!”

The two guests will not only be seen playing the game but also play antakshri and sing gazals with Mr. Bachchan. The proceeds from the winning amount will be doated to the trust of Ashok Khosla.
