In KBC 14, Delhi’s Harsh Poddar to attempt the ‘Dhan Amrit’!

Sony Entertainment Television’s knowledge-based game show ‘#KaunBanegaCrorepati14’ has had quite the successful run till now with a flurry of contestants from different walks of life gracing the hotseat. Now, on 7th September, gracing the hotseat after winning the Fastest Finger First, all the way from Delhi, would be #HarshPoddar. The 35 year old is in the business of medical supplies after belonging to a family of doctors and having a wife, who is a dentist. Harsh Poddar will be playing a game which would heavily impress host, Mr #AmitabhBachchan as his logical reasoning would take him closer and closer to the ‘#DhanAmrit’ amount of 75 lac. Will he be the next Delhiite to take home the coveted amount, on his way to 1 crore?

Starting off the conversation with the suave host, the contestant would be talking of how he got into the business of medical supplies after coming from a family of doctors. He would talk about his father who guided his way to the business model and helped clear his conundrums in life. Next the businessman would be talking about how he idolises Sourav Ganguly and his teammate Sachin Tendulkar, calling the duo the greatest cricketers ever who shaped the Indian team that is today. Big B would also steer the conversation towards the couple, talking to Harsh about who takes who to the movies, since he is a huge film fanatic, and if Harsh has ever surprised his wife with gifts. Lastly, at the behest of Mr Bachchan, Harsh would also be indulging in some tips about investing and starting a business of their own, putting importance on the value of having “gut feel”.

The contestant wants to open a dentist clinic for his wife and that is the dram the couple share. Talking about his experience of being a part of the show, Harsh said, “it was absolutely marvelous sitting across from the one and only Big B or Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Being a part of Kaun Banega Crorepati made me realize how lucky I am to be sitting on the hotseat because there were a lot of great contestants with me that night sitting on the fastest finger first chairs. I entered with luck but stayed on with wit. I want to thank the team of Sony TV and Kaun Banega Crorepati for giving me this precious opportunity to come on the show and not only meet Mr. Bachchan but also be a part of the show’s history and win my amount. I will always cherish these memories!”
