In Wagle Ki Duniya, how will the Wagle family deal with this unexpected crisis?

We have always been able to relate to the Wagle family as they go through the oddities of life. But this time around, there is a lot at stake as #RajeshWagle (#SumeetRaghavan) has seemingly suffered from a heart attack. It has been known for a while that Rajesh has been going through a series of personal and family crises, with the bank scam and the new stakeholders in his office, he has been struggling to cope up with all the stress. To add to the agony, his anxiety piles up and he collapses, leaving Vandana (Pariva Pranati) and the Wagle family in a total mess.

While Rajesh recuperates from his attack, we learn that his Mediclaim has expired, and he does not have any other medical insurance due to the bank scam. The doctors suggest an angiography to be done on an urgent basis as Rajesh is not recovering naturally. An already flustered Vandana struggles with the finances as she tries to move things around to gather the hefty amount required for the procedure. In a bid to save her husband’s life she sells her antique necklace to Jyoti. While Sakhi and Atharva try to contribute their best, Srinivas offers to give his fixed deposit savings in order to save his son’s life. The entire family is disheartened and prays to Sai Baba, hoping for a miracle.

In a major turn of events, we get introduced to Vandana’s Mami a.k.a Mahadevi Tripathi who has come to be beside her dearest niece in these tough times. Mahadevi’s first instinct was to question the doctor’s diagnosis and ask Vandana to get a second opinion as she smells something fishy. She asks for his medical reports and both Rajesh and she are shocked to learn that Rajesh’s oxygen and pulse rate readings are different on the oximeter as compared to the reading we see on the hospital’s heart monitor.

Sumeet Raghavan who essays the role of Rajesh Wagle says, “Crisis always happens when we least expect them. The Wagle family is undoubtedly quite distressed with Rajesh’s sudden health scare. We always try to give a covert message through every track. This time around also, we want to stress on the fact that there is nothing more important than your health and that your mental health is as important as physical health as there is a direct correlation between the two. Also, one must be mindful of their finances and be alert enough to not fall prey to scams.
