In ‘ZDMN’, Abhay’s speech on women empowerment irks Koel!

#SonySAB’s youthful show #ZiddiDilMaaneNa is getting all the love and appreciation from the audiences for its current storyline that raises a strong voice against domestic abuse, through the lens of Koel (Simple Kaul). The upcoming episodes will keep the viewers hooked, as the cadets from the Parakram SAF devise a plan to save Koel and stop her from leaving the country with Nikhil (Nirbhay Thakur) and Abhay (Karan Veer Mehra).

Suman’s (Satyaketi Mishra) identity gets revealed in front of Abhay as she makes constant efforts to collect evidence against him. The cadets have no choice but to fast track their plan as they race against time. With just one day in hand to save Koel, the academy prepares a full proof plan to expose Abhay’s truth. Before leaving for the UK, Abhay gets an invitation to attend the felicitation party where he will be awarded as the best businessman of the year. He takes Koel along with him but leaves Nikhil behind, so Koel wouldn’t make an effort to escape. Karan (Shaalien Malhotra), Faizi (Aditya Deshmukh), Sanjana (Diljot Chhabra) and Monami (Kaveri Priyam) enter the award ceremony in disguise. During Abhay’s acceptance speech, he talks about women empowerment, which irks Koel. She gathers courage and decides to speak up about Abhay. How will Koel expose Abhay’s truth to the world? Does she have enough evidence against him?

Karan Veer Mehra essaying the role of Abhay, said, “Abhay is living a delusional world where he is happy and thinks that he has won the battle against Koel and the cadets of Parakram SAF. He thinks that he will be successful in taking Koel and Nikhil to the UK, and his plan is successful. Little does he know that the cadets of Parakram SAF are extremely Ziddi and will do whatever it takes to save Koel and Nikhil from a person like him. The viewers will see how Koel will stand up for herself this time and attempt to expose Abhay’s truth!”

Simple Kaul essaying the role of Koel, said, “Koel’s life is at a crucial juncture, and for her, it’s like a now or never situation. The constant support from her friends at the academy is the only ray of hope for her. Abhay talking about women empowerment at the award ceremony, was like the last straw for Koel. A person who has constantly put her wife through something as disgraceful as domestic violence shouldn’t be on a pedestal talking about women empowerment and hence, she instantly decides to expose Abhay’s truth. With this track, our aim is to encourage all the strong women out there to stand up, gather courage and raise a voice against any injustice meted out to them. This will be an emotional yet an entertaining journey for the audience, stay tuned!
