‘Indian Idol – Season 13’ gets its Top 12 contestants!

Putting their best foot forward, the selected Top 12 contestants have certainly impressed one and all with their melodious voices.

Presenting a musical extravaganza like none other, Indian Idol celebrates extraordinary musical talent that has emerged from the nook and cranny of the country. Talking about the contestants, Rishi Singh who is known for his soulful voice has over time, not only made a place in the heart of the viewers but also caught the attention of ace cricketer, Virat Kohli who personally messaged Rishi praising him! Known for his simplicity and endless love for his mother, Shivam Singh aka ‘Papa Shivam’ from Vadodara has widely been recognized for his heart-touching voice. Along with being a great singer, Shivam has also grooved with notable celebrity guests on the show like Sharmila Tagore Ji, Zeenath Aman Ji, Tanuja Ji, Kriti Sanon and many more which have been a visual treat to watch.

Hailing from Kolkata, contestant Senjuti Das, who instantly became everyone’s favourite with her traditional andaaz and soulful voice right from her audition round has been seen in the spotlight since the audition phase. A moment on the show that further gave her motivation and confidence is when producer Vipul D Shah offered Senjuti Das to sing her version of his film’s song. ‘Padhaku Bachchi’ Anushka Patra, who is the quite one on the show has with time taken everyone by surprise. Giving a rocking performance in the show, Anushka has been upping her game with her various avatars on the show surprising the judges. Be it megastar Amitabh Bachchan or Salman Khan, Anushka has aced them all! ‘Bengali Beauty’ Bidipta Chakraborty has won the hearts of the judges, several guests and viewers during her performance, not only this but through the platform of Indian Idol, Bidipta has been getting multiple films offers from the celebrity guests like Anupam Kher who offered her a scholarship in his acting school. Debosmita Roy and Sonakshi Kar from Kolkata have secured their place in the top 12 with their exceptional voices. Celebrating contestant Debosmita Roy’s birthday in full fervor, her fellow contestants has been seen gifting her a gold chain on her 21st birthday.

Delivering back-to-back mind-blowing performances, Kavya Limaye the fashionista has been winning hearts of judges with her versatile singing on the show. Being the daughter of an established singer Sachin Limaye, Kavya brings to the show a fresh voice that has stunned everyone every weekend. Adding to this, judge Himesh Reshammiya who has been encouraging the new talents of the show was recently offered Kavya Limye and her mother a special gift, a song in his upcoming music album. The Punjabi Munda Navdeep Wadali from Amritsar, who belongs to the Wadali brother’s lineage has grabbed the judge’s attention throughout his ‘Kawali and Sufi performance on the show. There’s more!
