Ishq Jabariya actress Pranoti Pradhan believes that her personality fits better with negative role!
‘Ishq Jabariya’ actress #PranotiPradhan reveals why she feels negative roles suit her more than positive roles. Every actor enjoys tackling diverse roles, but some roles just feel like a perfect fit. Actress Pranoti Pradhan, who stars as Madhumita in Ishq Jabariya, recently shared which roles she loves most and why they resonate with her.
Pranoti Pradhan shared, “In daily soaps, I enjoy two types of roles: comedy and negative characters. Given that we stay in character for 10-12 hours, it’s crucial to enjoy what we do. Comedy roles start my day with a smile, while negative characters, like Madhumita in Sun Neo’s Ishq Jabariya, set a powerful tone for the hours ahead.
She further added, “I think I’m drawn to these characters because they offer such a range of emotions and challenges. Comedy roles let me explore my lighter, funnier side, and as an artist it is rewarding to make people laugh. On the other hand, negative roles like Madhumita are intense and powerful, allowing me to delve deep into complex emotions and motives. Both types of roles keep me engaged and excited about my work, making every day on set an adventure.”
Revealing why she feels that such roles fit her personality well, Paronti Pradhan shared, “Comedy suits me because I have a natural sense of humour, while negative roles align well with my more intense side. Positive roles are great and definitely get a lot of love from the audience—I’ve even received offers for some. But, honestly, my personality fits better with negative roles.”
Ishq Jabariya features Kamya Panjabi, Siddhi Sharma, and Lakshay Khurana in pivotal roles. Pranoti Pradhan plays Madhumita, Gulki’s stepmother, who tries to control her and hinder her dreams. The show is a heartwarming love story about Gulki (Siddhi Sharma), a cheerful young woman who aspires to become an air hostess but encounters unexpected challenges along the way.
Tune into Sun Neo to watch Ishq Jabariya, every Monday to Saturday at 7:30 pm.
