Ishq Jabariya actress Siddhi Sharma shares thoughts on Dussehra.
“Despite the exhaustion during festivals, we never feel tired, and that’s the best part about celebrations”, opines #IshqJabariya actress Siddhi Sharma while sharing thoughts on #Dussehra.
Dussehra, a festival symbolising the triumph of good over evil, holds special significance for many, including Siddhi Sharma, who plays the role of Gulki in Sun Neo’s Ishq Jabariya. The young actress recently opened up about her plans for celebrating the festival and the cherished traditions she observes during this festive time.
Sharing how she plans to celebrate, Siddhi Sharma said, “In our society, we have a Dussehra function where we first have a pooja, followed by a meal on the terrace. All the kids in the society are actively involved. As evening approaches, we rush around to get ready for the garba. After finishing the meal, we all head to the garba. Despite the exhaustion of the day, during these festivals, we never feel tired, and that’s the best part about celebrations.”
Talking about the theme of good over evil, the Ishq Jabariya actress added, “I believe the battle is within us. What is inside our minds reflects in the outside world. We can try to clear the negativity within ourselves, but we can’t control others. I’ve heard it’s best not to think too positively or negatively about others, as whatever we think affects us first. If we expect good and don’t receive it, we end up feeling bitter. Instead, we should focus on improving ourselves, and that will naturally influence those around us. When people see us leading by example, they might follow. Trying to directly teach or correct others often backfires, especially with today’s generation.”
