India is the global agricultural powerhouse and this sector has and continues to contribute immensely to the nation’s economy. One of the major drivers of the agricultural sectors are the Farmers who put their heart and soul into the soli to give it life and give us food. But, in order to bear the fruit, they go through major struggles that impact their mental and physical health. Taking a baby step in helping the farmer’s community and making their work a little less stressful, Farmer Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare developed KG Agrotech, a multipurpose bicycle for pesticide spraying, seeding, and luggage carrying. Being a farmer himself, Kamlesh understands the hardships of a farmer and hence used his knowledge of tech and innovation to make a low-maintenance affordable product that can help the farmers in the long run.
Post achieving a deal, Founder Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare said, “Having grown up amongst farmers, there are very few who understand their plight or do something for them. Being a farmer I understand the issues and hence I wanted to do something for my community because ‘Ek Kisan he dusre kisan ka dard samajh sakta hain’, hence I started KG Agrotech which deals with a multipurpose bicycle for pesticide spraying, seeding, and luggage carrying. Being on Shark Tank India today is a great moment for me. Our main agenda was to alleviate the pain of the farmers who carries the weight of more than a billion population on their shoulders. I would like to express my gratitude to Peyush Bansal sir who has trusted our product and given us a huge deal. We are looking forward to getting his expertise and knowledge to grow our company and help the farmer community. I would also like to thank Shark Tank India for giving us the opportunity that will give hope to millions of farmers out there to dream.
