Kangana Ranaut launches the trailer of ‘Razakar’!
Kangana Ranaut is known for her nationalist approach. She through her films try to impart message of One India and in real life too supports causes, people who promote nationalism. A movie named Razakar is about a silent genocide happened in Hyderabad during the period when India got Independence and formed a union of states. But Hyderabad Nizam was reluctant to join and then Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel took a strong stand and compelled Hyderabad to be the part of One India. Importantly when Kangana came to know about the movie and its content she declared her desire to attend the trailer launch. The trailer of Razakar was launched recently in her presence.
The trailer launch of the electrifying movie Razakar – Silent Genocide of Hyderabad took place amidst great excitement and fanfare. The event was graced by the entire cast including Makarand Deshpande, Raj Arjun, Bobby Simha, Vedika, and Annusriya Tripathi, alongside esteemed Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy and Director Yata Satyanarayana. Adding to the glitz and glamour, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was the chief guest at the event.
The trailer launch event, held in Mumbai, showcased the intense and gripping narrative of Razakar – Silent Genocide of Hyderabad, a historic action drama that delves into the struggles faced by the common people during the tumultuous period of Hyderabad’s delayed independence. Set against the backdrop of the year following India’s independence in 1947, the movie portrays the relentless oppression inflicted by the Nizam and the ruthless Rajakars on the people of the region. It intertwines tales of relentless struggle and valour with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s strategic efforts to liberate the Deccan region from Nizam’s grip.
Speaking about the film, Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy expressed his enthusiasm, stating that We are thrilled to present Razakar – Silent Genocide of Hyderabad to the audience. This film sheds light on a significant chapter of history that deserves to be remembered and honoured. Razakar movie deserves to be presented to the present day generation as many are not aware of the facts which took place during 15 August 1947 till 17 September 1948 the day Hyderabad was liberated.
Director Yata Satyanarayana shared his insights into the making of the movie, remarking that it has been a labor of love to bring this story to life on the silver screen. We have endeavoured to portray the valour of those who fought against tyranny and injustice.”

Razakar – Silent Genocide of Hyderabad is produced under the banner of Samarveer Creations LLP and is scheduled for release on March 1, 2024, in theaters nationwide.
