Of course, we also have a lot of fights. What’s the point if siblings do not quarrel? Sibling fights make the relationship more stronger. But we are great friends too. We share everything with each other, even secrets. I am always there for her in her difficult time. It’s my duty as an elder brother. I do guide her witching imposing myself on her. Both of us respect each other immensely.
Last year’s Rakshabandhan is unforgettable for me. I was supposed to be performing in a play that day. She too was busy with her work. There were doubts whether Rakshabandhan would be celebrated or not. However, we managed to meet late at night and celebrated the festival with fanfare. This year, it is difficult to celebrate Rakshabandhan due to corona virus inflicted period. But, we are both in Mumbai, so the question of ‘virtual Rakshabandhan’ does not arise. Following all the guidelines laid down for Covid 19, we will definitely meet and celebrate Rakshabandhan in person.”
