‘Karkhanisanchi Vaari’ (कारखानिसांची वारी) to be screened at Tokyo International Film Festival
‘Karkhanisanchi Vaari’ (Ashes On A Road Trip) will be making a trip to Tokyo for the world premiere. The film is directed by Mangesh Joshi. The Marathi film ‘Karkhanisanchi Vaari‘ has been selected for its world premiere at the prestigious 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival this year. The festival will be held in Tokyo from October 31 to November 9.
Nine Archers Pictures Company and Pravah Nirmiti have produced the film “Karkhanisanchi Vaari”. The film is directed by Mangesh Joshi and produced by Archana Borhade who is responsible for cinematography too. Mangesh Joshi directorial Lathe Joshi too received critical acclaim at several international Film Festivals.
The film stars Ameya Wagh, Mrinmayi Deshpande, Mohan Agashe, Gitanjali Kulkarni, Pradip Joshi, Ajit Abhyankar, Vandana Gupte, Shubhangi Gokhale and Pradip Velankar in the lead roles. The music of the film is by A.V. Prafulla Chandra and background music scored by Sarang Kulkarni.
The film’s story journey based, in which the journey of a family is shown with humorous anecdotes. Crossing the boundaries of language and culture, our Marathi cinema is gaining popularity among audiences all over the world.
