Khuda Haafiz’s story revolves around Sameer, Nargis and Usman Murad

Khuda Haafiz is another film releasing on OTT platform. As an aftermath of outbreak of corona virus and resultant multiple lockdowns, film makers became jittery as their ready film were lying in cans. To overcome the economics of film making, many producers opted for this ‘Third Screen’ option. 

Khuda Haafiz is an action thriller film written and directed Faruk Kabir. It stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in the lead roles, with Annu Kapoor, Aahana Kumra and Shiv Pandit in important supporting roles. Set during the financial crisis of 2007–2008, the film is inspired by true events and follows Sameer Chaudhary, a young man who races against time to rescue his kidnapped wife Nargis from flesh traders.

Meet Khuda Haafiz’s three important characters viz. 1. Sameer Chaudhary, a Lucknow based software engineer. Beaten. Battered. Bruised. 2. Nargis, Sameer’s innocent, young bride; excited to begin a new life in a distant country; But they are separated by a cruel twist of fate. 3. Usman Murad, an Afghan Pathan cab driver and a good samaritan. When everything stood against Sameer, Usman was his only confidante in a foreign land.
