KisanKonnect root for strengthening the bond between the people and the soil!

#KisanKonnect, the fastest growing online ‘farm – to – home’ provider of fresh vegetables fruits, village staples and home – made food, is celebrating this #ValentinesDay with a distinct message of ‘#Love’ coming from the soil.

KisanKonnect has been observing the Valentine’s Day and the entire week with its ‘Love for Soil’ campaign to connect the ‘Soil’ with the people. Strengthening the bond between the people and the soil from which the farmers grow nutritious food, the Campaign aims at orienting the people who consume food the utter importance of soil in their lives.

Under the Campaign, KisanKonnect has been sending soil – stuffed plants from the farms of its member farmers to the customers with a message of ‘Love from Soil’. The soil also contains seeds, which the customers are appealed to sow and germinate later.

Mrs Nidhi Nirmal, Director and Business Head of KisanKonnect Safe Foods who spearheaded the campaig, “The V – Day is an occasion to touch the feelings of a wider spectrum of generation. We intend to bring a new version of expression of love by connecting the soil of farms with the people. The aim is to urge the people to bond with the soil that gives us nutritious food and nourishes us, as it personifies ‘Love from Soil’. We are sending the soil straight from the farms of the farmers to our customers”.

“While they say ‘Love is in the Air”, we are seeding a thought that ‘Love is in the Soil’ too, so ‘Love the Soil”, added Ms Nirmal.

In this unique campaign, which KisanKonnect started in the Valentine’s Day Week, the brand has been encouraging people to love the soil and understand from where our food comes and strive hard to better the health by consuming food from the enriched soil.

KisanKonnect is breaking a stereotype deviating from the normal couple campaigns with this fresh approach.

The brand also wants to enlighten the people that a farmer’s relationship with a family is a committed relationship, as he takes care of our daily nourishing meals through the supplies of vegetables, fruits and staples. And, the route goes through ‘Soil’.

Mrs Nirmal added, “Soil is a backbone of our food security. Without soil, we cannot imagine life. At KisanKonnect, we encourage our real heroes, farmers who love the soil to follow Regenerative Agriculture Practices that nourishes the soil. We pass on this legacy to the people”.
