Kubbra Sait returns as Sana Shaikh in ‘The Trial’ season 2!

Kubbra Sait is undoubtedly on a career upswing. Known for her roles in acclaimed shows and films like ‘Sacred Games’,’#JawaaniJaaneman’, (2021), ‘#SheharLakhot’ (2023),  ‘Farzi’ (2023), the talented actress has now commenced shooting for the much-anticipated second season of ‘#TheTrial’. Sait, who portrayed the character of Sana Shaikh in the first season, received widespread praise for her performance.

Today, taking to her social media, Kubbra Sait shared the picture and has also revealed that she has begun shooting for the second show. The actress posted a picture of herself outside the vanity van with the caption, “And it begins Season 2 #Trial @disneyplushotstar @banijayasia.”

The first season of ‘The Trial’ featured a stellar cast including Kajol, Sheeba Chaddha, Jisshu Sengupta, and other actors in prominent roles. As Kubbra Sait returns as Sana Shaikh in season two, it would be interesting to see what dynamics her character offers this time.

In addition to ‘The Trial’ season 2, Kubbra Sait recently wrapped up the major chunk of ‘Son of Sardaar 2’  shooting schedule which features Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, and Ravi Kishan. Kubbra will also be seen in David Dhawan’s next untitled comedy entertainer. The actress will also be seen essaying a cop’s role in Shahid Kapoor-fronted ‘Deva’, which is slated to release in cinemas in February 2025.
