Lauren Gottlieb recounts witnessing massive fire in Los Angeles, “I was running around the building trying to find a way to get in”!
Lauren Gottlieb, who is currently stationed in California, recently witnessed the horrific incident of a burning auction house selling studio sets and props.
The dancer-actress was among the first ones to witness the massive fire coming out from the commercial building located in an industrial area in Los Angeles. Within no time, the entire Los Angeles Fire Department reached the location and started the evacuation process of people trapped inside the building which was caught on fire.
Recalling the horrific incident, Lauren informs, “When I came out of the store, I could hear people screaming and there was a little bit of smoke coming but the screams were terrifying. So I was running around the building trying to find a way to get in. There were some people around with heavy tools to break the locks and the chains. They luckily threw that open because you could hear screams of the people trapped inside and metal bars. Thankfully, the entire LA fire department showed up within no time. I have never been so proud to see so many people on it. God bless the fire department.”
“Thankfully, fire-fighters with LAFD were able to extinguish a greater alarm fire at a commercial building. Nearby locals were able to rescue two people who were trapped inside the building, which had metal bars on the windows,” Lauren adds.
Lauren made her Bollywood debut with the dance-based movie ‘ABCD’ and was also hugely appreciated for her effortless dance performances in popular movies including ‘Welcome To Karachi’ and ‘ABCD 2’ among other films. Interestingly, she has been a competitive contestant in the dance reality show, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6’ and also judged season 8 of the same show.
The gorgeous dancer-actress, who has been hugely credited for bridging the gap between Hollywood and Bollywood with her remarkable talent as a dance performer and who became a household name with the USA based dance show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, is currently stationed in LA and will be back in India soon for work commitments.
