Mahindra World City, Jaipur ties up with four customers to create direct employment

Mahindra World City Jaipur Ltd (MWC Jaipur), a joint venture between Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited (MLDL) and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), is already a destination of choice for 90+ companies.  In addition to large corporates, MWC Jaipur has been enabling success of MSME companies leveraging its integrated industrial ecosystem. MWC Jaipur today announced that it has signed four companies from the IT/ITeS, medical devices, manufacturing and warehousing logistics sectors.  These clients viz. Programmers.io; Vitromed Healthcare; Bansal Oil Mill Ltd.; and Bhagwati Group are investing to establish new facilities/ expand existing operations at MWC Jaipur.  MWC Jaipur is the chosen destination for these MSME clients’ due to its strategic location; ready plug-n-play infrastructure along with an established ecosystem enabling Ease of Doing Business in operations. This ensures faster time-to-market benefit for all industrial clients

Companies based at MWC Jaipur that were producing essential goods and services (as per government guideline), continued to remain operational through all phases of the lockdown, supporting Indian and global supply chains and markets.  Subsequently, all additional companies that were eligible and willing to resume operations (per norms) during phased unlocking were able to safely restart within three days and up to a week.  To date, nearly 80% of the ~60 companies that were operational at MWC Jaipur prior to Covid-19 have resumed operations and in-situ construction.
The customers signed on at MWC Jaipur will cater to markets across Europe, United States as well as domestic markets.  Established in 2006, Mahindra World City, Jaipur is spread across ~3000 acres. It is the preferred business destination for global and domestic companies across diverse sectors, including Bharatiya Skill Development University, JCB, Dev Milk Foods, Deutsche Bank Group, Gaston Engineering, Infosys, KnitPro, Mahindra & Mahindra, Pinnacle Infotech Solutions and TTK Healthcare Limited, to name a few.  As of March 2020, MWC Jaipur has generated cumulative exports worth INR 10,300+ Cr and created direct employment for over 12,500 persons.
