‘Mangalagaur’ and ‘Gatari‘ ‘War’ in ‘Vaiju Number One’

Shravan is considered a pious month and a lot of local and national festivals fall during this month. Just before the beginning of Shravan, Gatari Amavasya is ‘celebrated’ by menfolk. Actually during Shravan, non-vegetarian food is not consumed, these menfolk eat non-veg and consume liquor to tide through the month. When the month of Shravan begins, the festival season begins automatically. ‘Mangalagaur’ is celebrated by womenfolk which is considered an important festival for newly wed brides.

The same festival of Mangalagaur will also be part of the Star Pravah serial ‘Vaiju Number One’. The Lady Gang on the ‘Teesri Manzil’ is ready to play Mangalagaur and the games associated with it. But there is a twist. Because just like Mangala Gaur is a favorite festival of women, Gatari Amavasya is a favorite festival for men. The women of Teesri Manzil foiled the plan of men’s Gatari Amavsya, angering them. So menfolk of Teesri Manzil are getting ready to take revenge foiling ladies’ Mangalagaur. Therefore, it will be interesting to see whether the celebration-plan for Mangala Gaur of these women fructifies.

The entire Teesri Manzil has been decorated for the occasion. Vaiju, her mother-in-law and all the women will be seen traditional nauwari sarees. A special colorful rehearsal of the games of Mangalagaur has also taken place. So, there is no doubt that this part of ‘Vaiju Number One’ will be full of entertainment.
