Manuj Nagpal opines, ‘Good looks do help but now everything depends on the script and requirements of the character’
Actor Manuj Nagpal, whose Punjabi single Jiounda Kide Layee has recently released, says that he loves the way his career has shaped up. He says that although last year was slow, he is back to work. “My career journey has always been a roller coaster. But it’s amazing and I am blessed to be what I always want to be,” he says.
Further adding he says, “After the pandemic, I am back in Mumbai and work has started. Recently, my new Punjabi single Jiounda Kide Layee released. This has been sung by Karamjit Anmol, the music has been given by Nation Brothers and it has been produced under the label Finetouch Music. It’s on YouTube. Apart from this, you can see me in Myntra studio’s series called Fashion At The Movies. I am also doing Ad campaigns and calendar shoots.”
Manuj is also on the lookout for other interesting projects. “I am looking for more regular projects like a film, a TV show or a web series. There are some projects that are in the pipeline and by God’s grace I will announce my projects soon,” he says. Talking about shooting in the new normal, he says, “Well, you have to be very careful but things are working out. I hope everything goes back to normal quickly.” Ask him if he feels looking good helps him as an actor, and he says, “Yes, good looks help but now things have been changed. Everything depends on the script and requirements of the character.”
