Marathi actress Pooja Birari is desperately hunting for an accomodation in Mumbai
Due to the lockdown, the common people of the country had to face many difficulties. Artists are no exception. Pooja Birari, who is an actress from a serial ‘Saajna’ on Zee Yuva will now be a part of ‘Almost Sufal Sampurna’, is also in trouble. She is unable to procure accommodation in the maximum city.
During the corona virus pandemic inflicted lockdown many things have changed drastically. One of them being no new person allowed in housing societies. She made public her plight, “Hello, I am Pooja Birari. I am an artiste. You must have watched me in a marathi serial ‘Saajna’. Your love to the character Rama, I played in it, I expect to get in ‘Almost Sufal Sampurn’ too. With imposition of lockdowns everything got affected, including economy. Government has requested to get used to ‘New Normal’ and forge ahead. Entertainment industry too is crawling back to normal but we artists do face problems. I am facing an unique problem and as a family I am sharing it with you. Surprisingly now a days it’s easier to get acting assignments but very difficult to get accomodation. Yes. I am facing an accommodation crisis.
I am grateful to the makers of ‘Almost Sufal Sampurna‘ and Zee Yuva too. I am once again working with Zee family and am excited about it. My irony is not finding rental house. I can’t find one right now. I really want to find a house now but am getting constant rejection and frustration. Zee Yuva channel tried to arrange a place on the sets but it was not possible as Appa (Sunil Godbole) and some others have been living since the shooting restarted. Right now I, my team of ‘ASS’, Soham Productions and Zee Yuva, all are looking for a home for me.
Due to corona fear housing societies are not allowing new people in the premises. The business of rental housing is almost nil during these days. Society secretaries are blatantly refusing accommodation ans I am given to understand that many artistes are facing the same problem. Even in Unlock phases the rules of ‘New Normal’ are not being abided. Every thing said and done, I am without an accommodation. Will anybody guide me or help me?”
