The show will pay tribute to the iconic Aruna Irani, who has graced the silver screen with her exceptional talent in over 500 films through the power of dance, acting, directing, writing and producing. She will be joining the esteemed panel of judges, which includes the renowned Terence Lewis, Geeta Kapur, and Sonali Bendre. Prepare to be amazed as the talented contestants take the stage to showcase their incredible skills in honour of Aruna Irani’s illustrious career. Anjali Mamagai and Aryan Patra will take the stage and perform on the iconic song, ‘Thoda Resham Lagta Hai’ from the movie ‘Jyoti’.
The duo’s spellbinding performance will leave everyone in awe. Aruna Irani will comment on their extraordinary performance by stating, “The performance was so beautiful, I not even for a second thought that this performance is any less than the original performance. You both performed gracefully.” Since Anjali started earning from the young age of 13 years old to support her family, the actress will relate to her and share her story of struggle, “I see myself in Anjali, as even I started working at the age of 9 years to support my family. That is sweet of her because these days not many people understand their responsibilities. It is admirable to set aside your desires and ambitions and concentrate on how to support your family. I am confident that you will achieve greatness in the future.”
She would continue, “I come from a family of eight siblings, and being the oldest, I naturally assumed the role of responsibilities. However, my parents never requested that I discontinue my education. I did it independently. Sometimes, when we were poor, my mother would give us rice with onions to eat. In the past, we faced difficulties in paying our rent on time, which led to people threatening to evict us from our house. However, we had no other place to go, which made me realise the importance of supporting my family and motivated me to start working.” Aruna Irani would also talk about how her father had always regretted not having a son as his oldest child but on his death bed had remarked that he was proud of his daughter, saying that his Aruna is “Arun” for him.
The three judges will also be praising the duo for their incredible performance. Sonali Bendre will compliment the duo and will also compliment, “Sher bachcha se Sherni bulana chahiye.”
