Meet Top 16 home cooks of ‘MasterChef India’!

 

In the quest to find India’s ultimate ‘MasterChef’, #SonyEntertainmentTelevision and #SonyLIV have brought to the viewers a delightful treat this year, the culinary reality show ‘#MasterChefIndia!’ The show that airs every Monday to Friday at 9:00 pm, is the most revered cooking reality show that had travelled across India and witnessed many aspiring home cooks present a platter of delectable dishes that were not only appealing to the sight but also tingled the tastebuds. Judges by eminent Chefs – #RanveerBrar, #GarimaArora and #VikasKhanna, the home cooks were evaluated based on the ‘TIP’ approach i.e Taste, Innovation and Presentation. Based on these core aspects, the Top 16 home cooks have finally begun their journey from the Top 36; from being a tastemaker to a changemaker in the realm of food. Making the celebration of food even grander will be the exquisite ‘MasterChef India kitchen’ where many dreams will turn into reality and unique stories will come alive. After various rounds of auditions across the country the Top 36 contestants were selected with various grooming sessions and multiple challenges put forward by the renowned chef and judges of which, the Top 16 home cooks have finally been chosen.

Ready to make a mark, the Top 16 contestants who were selected and got personalised aprons bearing their names are;Priyanka Kundu Biswas from Kolkata, Aruna Vijay from Chennai, Urmila Jamnadas from Mumbai, Priya Vijan from Bangalore, Dyuti Banerjee from Kolkata, Avinash Patnaik from Bhubaneswar, Santa Sarmah from Jagiroad Vill Amlighat, Nazia Sultana from Guwahati, Gurkirat Singh from Sirsa, Yashu Verma from Gazipur City, Kamaldeep Kaur from Ludhiana, Sachin Khatwani from Lucknow,Suvarna Vijay Bagul from Mumbai, Deepa Chauhan from Bangalore, Nayanjyoti Saika from Tinsukia, and Vineet Yadav from Lucknow.

Further into the show, the Top 16 will cook it out in the MasterChef Kitchen where, the contestants will be seen facing various challenges like using a limited amount of ingredients for their dishes and they will also be given challenges in between their cooking time and so, rest assured, the journey is going to be a tedious one. The contestants will also be seen travelling in and around the country where newer challenges await them!
