Movie on surgical strike to release Beginning of next year
Producers Vijay Valbhnai and Sonu Jain have now made a film on Indian army’s surgical strike in Pakistan occupied Kashmir that was carried out after the September 2016 Uri terror attacks. Titled Surgical Strike, the film directed by Suzad Iqbal Khan has been written by Sagar Nath Jha and Abinash Singh Chib. Deepraj Rana, Mir Sarvar, Lakha Lakhwinder Singh,Jimmy Sharma, Sanjay Singh, Amit Pathak and Vedita Pratap Singh play a army officers in the movie. Indian army carried out surgical strikes across the Line of Control dismantling camps in PoK. After years of terror strikes supported by Pakistan, the Indian Army hit back with a textbook surgical strike that caused heavy casualties including many Pakistani soldiers, and destroyed a camp. Vijay Valbhnai said, “Apart from the thriller mission there is the basic life of these brave soldiers during the mission. We show how bravely they made it possible and how strong the Indian Army is. The film slated to release in the beginning of the next year was shot in one schedule in Kashmir.”
