Mumbai Airport Covid Testing, a “Scam”!

There’s a reason to believe that the test and quarantine protocol at the #MumbaiAirport is a ‘#scam’ to mint money. How come a person returning from #London, carrying a Negative #RTPCR report, is declared Positive at the Mumbai airport?
As per #BMC guidelines it has to be ensured that hospital beds are used by the patients with severe Covid symptoms only. Also those who can Not isolate themselves at home should be sent to BMC’s quarantine isolation centres.
As per #CentralHealthMinistry, patients with mild symptoms of Covid 19 and/or are asymtomatic should be Home Quarantined rather than Hospitalised. Despite these rules in place, people returning from abroad with no symptoms of Covid 19 are being compelled for Institutional Quarantine.

I, Mr Ronnie Rodrigues, alongwith my family and Cine Buster team visited London around Christmas and New Year. We were altogether 14 people (10 adults including me and 4 children). There were reports of Omicron threat in London but we never sensed that. We had a good time in London during the festive season and were in a gleeful mood while returning to our own country. We did RTPCR test in London and everyone’s report was Negative.
On returning to India as per the government guideline all of us went through Rapid Antigen and RTPCR tests. Two of my staff was detained at the airport citing positive Covid report. They were isolated in the airport area and were asked to wait for 8-9 hours for RTPCR report.
But after some time a lady personnel at the airport informed them that their RTPCR report too is positive and they’ll have to go in for Institutional Quarantine. Home quarantine option was tossed away arrogantly. Even when requested for report, the request was turned down saying they’ll get reports at the BKC centre. They were sent to newly opened BKC COVID Isolation centre.
Next day morning one of my staff members’ RTPCR report was received in my mail (all reports were requested on my mail being the head of the organisation) and it showed “Not Detected”. (it proves that the lady at the airport Lied about the second report being Positive.) Surprisingly he was not allowed to go home. It was argued by the Doctors that Not Detected means either positive or negative. I do not understand which English they ‘follow’? It was insisted upon that he do another RTPCR test. My person insisted on to be kept separately at the centre but it still was dangerous health hazard to be surrounded by Covid positive patients.
The third day morning the report was received by me stating the the person is Covid NEGATIVE. The report was timed around 2 am but with numerous reminders he was discharged at 10 am.
Is it not a crime to put a person’s health is being compromised? Isn’t staying with Covid positive patients dangerous to one’s health?
