National Award-winning director Arun Shankar to launch three films!

National Award-winning director turned-producer Arun Shankar is all set to launch three films under his banner, Arun Shankar Productions LLp. The 27-year-old is currently awaiting the release of the next music video titled Hum. The song, which sees a collaboration between Indian and international artistes, is sung by Arun and Neeti Mohan, composed by Grammy Award-winner Ricky Kej and features newbie Ruthvik Reddy along with TV actress Pooja Banerjee. Arun shares, “We aim to come up with content-driven, meaningful yet innovative ways of storytelling, be it through a music video or a film.”

Talking about his first film project that is set to go on floors by April, Arun says, “We are making a film that has a strong social cause attached to it. It will have a mix of various elements of entertainment and the narrative is styled differently. It will feature some popular artistes from the fraternity, who are already loved for their work. The project will also be a launchpad for fresh talents like Ruthvik Reddy, who will be playing the main lead.” He further adds, “I believe it’s a right blend when you work with recognized artists and at the same time, encourage and promote new talents, irrespective of their background. Talent is talent, whether it is an outsider or someone from the industry. Ruthvik is a gifted performer and we believe in promoting the worthy.”
