Festivals this year are celebrated with complete low key. Corona virus pandemic has compelled everyone to not celebrate festivals with fervour. After dismal festivities around festivals for the last six-seven months, Navratri is expected to raise the spirit of festivities in the country. This is a festival of Goddess who provides consciousness and energy. To make this Navratri festival more auspicious and to keep the audience entertained, the Shemaroo MarathiBana channel has brought a feast of two devotional films, ‘Kundmauli Malganga’ and ‘Mata Ekvira Navsala Pavli’.
The movie ‘Kundmauli Malganga’, which tells the story of Goddess Shrimalganga, will be screened on Saturday, October 17 at 12.00 noon and 6.00 pm. Alka Kubal has played the role of Goddess in a family devotional film based on the theme of Guptadhan and Goddess Leela. In Maharashtra, there are three and a half Shakti Peeths of Goddesses. Among them, Ekvira Devi is the incarnation of Parvati, Yamai, Renukamata. Mother Ekvira Devi is Adishakti and Ekvira Devi is known as the Goddess of ’Navas’ (Navas means a vow is made to deity for fulfilment of a wish).
