Navratri Special Photoshoot by Actress Tejaswini Pandit Saluting Police ‘Divinity’
Versatile and beautiful marathi actor Tejaswini Pandit is paying homage to the Corona Warriors in her Navratri special photoshoot this year. On the first day of Navratri, she paid homage to the ‘divine’ feeling among the doctors, while on the second day of Navratri, she paid homage to the police personnels’ unprece dented contribution made during the Corona period.
Actress Tejaswini Pandit says about her photoshoot, “When we are at home for our own safety during the lockdown. At that time, for the safety of all of us, the police and other security personnel were on duty, risking their lives in the heat and rain and freely roaming corona virus. Some people criticized the police during this period for their strictness. However, in some places, the police showed a ‘divine’ attitude towards humanity. Some gave a helping hand to the senior citizens, while others rushed to the aid of the patients.”
Tejaswini Pandit further adds, “While helping the young and old, many police personnel were working 22 hours a day forgetting food, rest or thirst. Many even had to stay away from their families for three or four months, when on duty. We believe in many forms of Goddesses. Chandika, Bhavani, Ambabai Goddesses have visited us in many forms and has done ‘Sadrakshanaya Khalanigrahanaya’. ‘Sadrakshanay, Khalnigrahanay” (सद्रक्षणाय खलनिग्रहणाय) is in Sanskrit which means (we stand) for the protection of good, to eradicate bad. This is my tribute to the police who are following this path.”
Every year Tejaswini brings her photoshoot during the nine days of Navratri with various ideas. Since 2017, Tejaswini Pandit has taken a step in the world of cinema. Tejaswini Pandit’s photoshoot is also the brainchild of illustrator Uday Mohite, photographer Vivian Pulan, writer RJ Adhish and director Dhairya.
