NCPA is all set to celebrate Valentine’s Day with ‘Readings in the Shed’!
India’s premier cultural institution, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) is all set to celebrate Valentine’s Day with ‘Readings in the Shed’ on 14th February 2021. Renowned artistic director Nikhil Katara, brings Asmit Pathare and Kyla D’souza for the third edition of Readings in the Shed that will focus on love letters that fought to defy the odds in the pursuit of a forever after.
With the 21st Chapter set to go live on 14th February, the written word initiative will focus on the lost appreciation for love and relationships that define the age of old school penned love letters.
Nikhil Katara is the Founder and Artistic director of Readings in the Shed. As a writer he initiated his journey with his own production titled ‘The Unveiling’, a science fiction drama in the year 2011 which received a lot of critical appreciation. Post that he went onto direct and write several plays that travelled nation-wide. In addition to this, Nikhil also conducts a reading club where writers, philosophers and directors in the city of Mumbai critique contemporary, original and classic plays on a weekly basis.
