Neeraj Tiwari says, ‘I personally think that the concept is mind-broadening and implies a message for mothers’!
Carrying forward his family’s legacy in the film and entertainment industry since the 1960s, Neeraj Tiwari has recently done the distribution of many movies and has now launched his company ‘Aagaaz Entertainment ‘ as a producer. His next is Saat Tareekh – a short film that will be streaming on the FNM platform which is owned by Mr. Vikaas Gutgutia from 25th June.
He says, “The film Saat Tareekh revolves around a loving mother who raised her son with lots of warmth and care. But suddenly, one day, she found out that her son has raped a girl and has been imprisoned for seven years. Each day, she waits and longs for her child to come home, as she will cook his favourite fish curry served with rice. Now, what will be the situation when the boy returns?”
He also adds, “I personally feel the concept is mind-broadening and implies a message for mothers to become like the mother in this film. Then the scenario of our country will change. I heard many scripts but nothing had a spark. And then the director Kartik read out the script for me and it touched my heart. Then, I decided to produce the project.”
Aishwarya Narkar is a well-known Marathi actor. I have seen her acting and I felt she can do justice to the character of ‘Saat Tareekh’ and she has done a marvellous job. It was a nice collaboration with FNP media and I hope to work on few more projects with them in future.
Neeraj also shares his production house has a web series and five films are lined up for this year.
