Netizens go ga ga over the BTS of the song ‘Chaka Chak’ from ‘Atrangi Re’!

#ChakaChak from the upcoming film #AtrangiRe is here to stay! While the composition by legendary musical genius #ARRahman is a chartbuster, the hook step of the song has been trending on social media since its launch. Slated to release on 24th December, Atrangi Re can be streamed exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

The BTS of the song has now caught everyone’s attention on the internet. In the making, we can see the choreographer Vijay Ganguly’s process of coming up with the iconic dance moves that have now become the hook steps at every wedding across the country! Sara Ali Khan’s first solo dance performance in a film, the song has crowned her as the official Chaka Chak girl.

Hailing Aanand L Rai as a legend, Vijay Ganguly said that he is happy that the filmmaker trusted him with the song and was there at every step to help in integrating the story with the dance. He further stated that with A. R. Rahman composing the music for the song, it added more pressure for him to get the choreography on-point.

In the video, we can also see the master storyteller Aanand L Rai explaining the mood of the song to Sara Ali Khan. Vijay Ganguly also praised the actress for her hard work.

Crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and penned by Irshad Kamil, Chaka Chak, featuring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush, has garnered more than 33 Million views on Youtube.

Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, Aanand L Rai and Cape Of Good Films present Atrangi Re, a Colour Yellow production, produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The film, directed by Aanand L Rai, will be on 24th December exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
