Nidarshana Gowani says, ‘Our Jankibai Ghamandiram Gowani trust tries to help at least 75 out of 100’!

#EntrepreneurNidarshanaGowani has shared how she decided to help the people of society. “I come from a family of doctors and pharmaceutical people who got married to a completely different family with a background of construction. My family and my mother’s side family members are all doctors, my dad used to have a pharmaceutical factory, so we have completely different backgrounds from what I am a part of now,” she said about her families.

“My mom used to run a school and she was selflessly involved in social service for JC Rotary. My growing up years have been totally occupied in being a housewife and then I started working, socially building up a good circle. It was then I came to the decision of serving and helping people of the society. Hence, I got more involved in my trust and through the verticals of my trust, we aim in helping the underprivileged section become stronger,” she added.

She shared that the Jankibai Ghamandiram Gowani trust is an old one aimed at serving the underprivileged section of the society which has been working for years now.

“It has been almost 3 years where we have become very actively involved making sure that we can help as many people as we can, be it cancer patients or underprivileged children. These unprecedented times have made us realise that more the pain people are going through, a lot of work needs to be done for the society.”

According to her, Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani trust genuinely believes in helping others. “We get requests from people on a daily basis. We try our best to ensure that out of 100 people, we are able to help at least 75 of them,” said Nidarshana.

Talking about the vision of the trust, she shared, “Ankibai Ghamnadiram Gowani Trust is a non-profitable trust, so we try to help each and every person without any expectations. This trust only believes in giving to others, that’s the reason we have the slogan ‘We believe in helping others.’
We want to build a lot of hospitals and schools for the underprivileged. We want to grow trust in a positive way. We want to grow trust and create old-age homes for senior citizens. We also want to build temples for people to come and pray.”

They are currently working very hard to help people in the best way they can. “We want to do good work in all sectors like building hospitals and schools for the underprivileged, old-age homes, providing quality healthcare and education to the commercially weaker section is our top most priority,” she said.

As for her hobbies, she believes in God a lot. “Hence, I like to pray most of the time. I like speaking to intellectual people. I like to listen to intellectual people.”

After working hard, her best getaway is spending time with her children, spending quality time with family, reading something intellectually and listening to something good and having positive thoughts.
