Web series ‘Bombay Day’ to be shot in Mumbai
As the Unlock 1 to 4 are underway, shooting are permitted, of course with some guidelines from the authorities. As Maharashtra government has now given a green signal for films, television and OTT platforms to resume their shoot, many production houses are now ready to begin their pre-production work, in which ‘Bombay Day’ will be the first one in Maharashtra to begin their shoot. Taking the cue, ‘Bombay Day’ a crime-based web series which is written and directed by Bharat Sunanda began its shoot on 8th June. The muhurat was scheduled at N. D. Film Studio in the presence of Studio’s head Nitin Desai. Nitin Chandrakant Desai graced the occasion as the chief guest and gave a clap for the muhurat shot.
1 Fivefilms productions’ ‘Bombay Day’ is a crime-based web series which is inspired by true events. It revolves around the life of Mumbai’s biggest criminal and how he was knocked down by famous encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar. Till that time he had already encountered many big names from Mumbai’s underworld, but this encounter became the biggest encounter of Mumbai. Did anyone help him? Who all were involved in it? Were there any political connections? Many more questions like this will be answered in this series.
Though the whole cast of series is not yet revealed, famous personalities like Anupam Kher, Juhi Chawla, Kishori Shahane, Aniket Vishwasrao, Iqbal Khan, Shakti Kapoor, and Sandeepa Dhar are confirmed to appear in the series. Prasad Panchal is Executive Producer, Dharam Sawlani is Line Producer and Charu Khabde associated with this project as a head of Marketing and Integration.
This multi-starrer web series ‘Bombay Day’ is promising you some goosebumps with this crime, drama & action-packed shots and will be released in November on the OTT platform.
