Nitin Kumar Gupta follows intermittent fasting and freehand exercises for fitness!
Director #NitinKumarGupta, who has helmed films like “#DeathOfAnAmbassador”, “#Sayonee”, says in order to stay hale and hearty, he leads a systematic lifestyle. Nitin, who is also a doctor from the K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai, says with regards to health it is essential to lead a disciplined life.
“Being regular is the number way to remain healthy. Be it lifestyle or fitness regime, diet, sleep habits, we should be regular with them. Second is to be informed. There are things that work better for different age groups and goals. Knowing what works helps a lot in avoiding wastage of time and energy,” he says.
“I have been promoting intermittent fasting which really works not just to lose weight but also to feel energetic through the day. I also promote freehand exercises and calisthenics (a form of strength training) rather than gym training, for all round fitness rather than just muscular gains,” he shares.
Personally, to keep himself healthy and fit, Nitin follows intermittent fasting and freehand exercises.
