No ! Esha is not doing television, not for now at least

Being a daughter of country’s dream girl isn’t easy. Esha Deol Takhtani, daughter of Hema Malini who is million’s heart throb even today, never had it easy in Bollywood. Daughter of huge superstar parents, i.e, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha had the disadvantage of comparisons. Sadly, Abhishek Bachchan is also a victim of the same thinking. Esha chose marriage over her dismal film career and is enjoying family life. That doesn’t mean that she has given up on her career.

But just a few days back there were reports doing rounds that Esha was all ready to do a television serial. But those are just rumours and her PR team has issued an official statement. It reads as follows…

“Hi, On behalf of Esha Deol Takhtani, we would like to clarify  that all reports floating around media regarding her role in a serial is untrue. She is not playing any character in the serial. She is a devotee of Ma Vaishno Devi, and wishes everyone associated with the serial all the best. Currently Esha is busy reading scripts, for movies, web series and digital films and also excited with her new role as an author with her book Amma Mia published by Penguin Books. She will soon announce her film project, when the time is right.
