With non-stop entertainment and specially curated themes for the viewers, #SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s #IndianIdolSeason12 has amazed the viewers time and again, this season. As the show inches towards the finale week, keeping the buzz high, the music reality show will honor the veteran and evergreen actor Reena Roy for a special episode and celebrate the Disco King – Bappi Lahiri with a ‘Bappi Lahiri Surprise Special.’ Host Aditya Narayan along with the judges Anu Malik, Sonu Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya will be seen engaging in a series of interactions with the guests and contestants. Ace film director Omung Kumar professes a wish and draws a sketch for Shanmukha Priya : Well known director Omung Kumar will be seen gracing the sets of Indian Idol 12 this week and will also be seen surprising our Yodeling girl Shanmukha Priya with not one but two gifts. After Shamukha Priya’s electrifying performance on the song ‘Jimmy Jimmy Aaja Aaja’ and ‘Super Dancer Aaye Hai’, Omung Kumar will be amazed. He will be seen surprising her with an offer to collaborate with her for not just for a song but an entire film. Furthermore, he also surprises the judges, fellow contestants and Shanmukha Priya herself by drawing her sketch in less than five minutes.

Bappi Da’s grand gesture for Pawandeep Rajan as he gifts him a tabla that he used to play since the age of 4 : The King of Disco who will be making an appearance on the show will not only come with truckloads of blessings but surprise the contestants with special gifts as well. One such grand gesture that Bappi Da will be seen making is for Pawandeep Rajan after his performance on the song ‘Pyar Manga Hai Tumhi Se’ and ‘Mana Ho Tum’. He will be offering Pawandeep his old tabla which he brought from Kolkata, the one that Bappi Da used to play since the age of four. He will also been seen praising Pawandeep for the various instruments that he plays. Now, who wouldn’t want such blessings from a legend?

Bappi Da surprises Sayli Kamble with a room transformation : The Bharat Ki Beti, Sayli Kamble will be seen winning the hearts of the viewers with her performance on the song ‘Kaliyon Ka Chaman’ and ‘Tamma Tamma’. Offering another surprise to the contestant, Bappi Da surprises Sayli Kamble by renovating her room. He shows her a video of her room with new paint, bed, music table, Saraswati Maa’s murti, Asha Bhosle’s framed palm imprints and much more. Following this, not only Sayli but her parents and even judge Anu Malik get emotional.

Bappi Da surprises Arunita Kanjilal with not one but two gifts : Increasing the curiosity of ‘Bappi Da Surprise Special’ episode, he brings in something special for Arunita Kanjilal who hails from Bengal. Sharing the same city as Bappi Da, he will be surprising this budding talent with a traditional Bengali saree. Not only that he has another surprise for Arunita which is in between the folds of the saree and that’s nothing else but a music contract from Bappi Da which mentions that the music maestro would like to produce, compose and record a song with Arunita!

Reena Roy says she’s a Bandra girl with a bike after Sayli’s performance on ‘Yeh Gotedaar Lahenga’ and ‘Jaan-E-Jaan, O Meri Jaan-E-Jaan’ : Themed ‘Reena Roy Special’ episode in the honor of the veteran actress, she will be seen taking a trip down her memory lane after Sayli Kamble’s performance on her hit numbers, one of which was the ‘Jaan-E-Jaan, O Meri Jaan-E-Jaan’ from the film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’. She gets flashbacks and shares her love for bikes. Adding more, she will also be seen sharing how her sister Barkha, who made the film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ added a bike scene because of her love and desire for riding them.
