Saumya and Vartika decided to up the stakes as they performed on a unique dance style i.e ‘Kalbelia’ on the song ‘Reshami Roomal’. Kalbelia happens to be a folk dance based in Rajasthan, India.
As known to all, Nora Fatehi is an ace belly dancer, so when she found a little version of herself in Pune girl ‘Saumya Kamble’, Nora Fatehi’s excitement and happiness knew no bounds. Nora not only sang praises for Saumya’s exceptional dancing skills but also gifted her a coin-belt to express her admiration. In addition to that, setting the stage on fire, Nora Fatehi joined Saumya on stage and together they performed on the song ‘Saki Sai’ leaving everyone spell bound.
Expressing her delight, actress Nora Fatehi said, “Saumya, you are a true artist and you have taken belly dancing to another level. Looking at you, I feel so overwhelmed because I am reminded of my days of being a contestant on a reality show. I am so proud of you for representing belly dance the way you do. I think you should win India’s Best Dancer because even though belly dance has even existed for years but it hasn’t gotten the respect and international recognition it deserves. You winning this show, will do that.”
