Now, Rohit Shetty extends a helping hand to freelance media videographers

Rohit Shetty is known for his philanthropic ways. This ‘hit-machine’ director always comes forward to help people in distress. In the wake of breaking of Covid 19 pandemic, Rohit Shetty has been helping people including police personnel. He donated, during lockdown, Rs 51 lakhs to FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) to support daily wage workers from the film industry.

Rohit Shetty, who is known for his ‘Cop-Universe’ movies helped Mumbai police and the Commissioner of Police publicly thanked him, ‘We thank Mr #RohitShetty, who has been a source of continued support for the men and women in Khaki ever since the onset of the #COVID19 pandemic. Mr. Shetty has facilitated 11 hotels with unlimited occupancy for our on-duty personnel #TakingOnCorona on the streets of Mumbai’.

Time and again, Rohit Shetty has come forth to support people who have been financially affected due to Covid. He has been doing his bit by helping cine workers and freelance media personals who are homebound due to the lockdown. He has further extended help to the freelance media videographers who have been unable to work by directly transferring money to their accounts.
