Nyra Banerjee feels that after a leap Chakori in Rakshabandhan is going to add more drama to the narrative!

#RakshabandhanRasalApneBhaiKiDhal has taken a leap and there are many more interesting twists and turns one can look forward to, shares #NyraBanerjee. The actor plays the role of #Chakori in the show produced by #YashPatnaik and #MamtaPatnaik.

“There are a lot of actors who have come on board this time. It’s going to be even more interesting with multiple people on the set. The kids have grown up and they will have their respective partners, hence more drama that the audience enjoys a lot. And, Chakori won’t disappoint them with her face-offs with some of the characters,” she says.

After the 15-year Leap, Nyra’s Chakori has grown more “glamorous, rich and powerful”. Her look now is more urban and fashionable. “The relationship Chakori shares with grown-up Shivraj played by Nishant Malani and Rasaal played by Varsha Sharma will be the highlights this time around,” she adds.

The concept of the show is unique and the title itself is very catchy, shares Nyra. “Indian television focuses a lot on family and emotional drama. The brother-sister relationship is unique and special, and not much explored. Hence, a bond of love, protection and friendship is there. Also, the story and presentation of our show is different from others,” she says.
About her working with Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik, the actor adds, “Its super fun working with the Patnaiks. They are wonderful people and have an eye for talent. The environment around me is both fun and professional.”
