Personal struggles kept Eva Grover away from work, makes a comeback with Janam Janam Ka Sath!

#EvaGrover, who was last seen in the #TVshow #Tashn-E-Ishq five years ago, is all set to get back to work. The #actress shares how the last five years have not been an easy ride for her.

Eva is a single mother and has a 15-year-old #daughter. She reveals that it was because of her personal struggles that she kept away from work. She says, “Life has its share of ups and downs. In the past few years, there have been so many issues in my #personallife that I was #prayingto God to show me the way. I got divorced many years ago and being a single mother comes with its problems. It is not easy #financially or #mentally. I also faced some health issues, so I was not in the frame of mind to work. Post pandemic, I started feeling better and realised that work keeps me happy and the industry has been really nice to me. So, I have now gained confidence and I am all set to start afresh with a #newshow.”

The actress will play a negative role in Janam Janam Ka Saath. Eva has been part of TV and films for more than two decades and has done comedy roles as well as negative characters in social dramas on TV.

She says that it was only after Bade Acche Laggte Hain that people started offering her negative roles. She adds, “I have mostly done comedy roles and enjoyed them thoroughly. It is only after I played the antagonist in Bade Acche Laggte Hain that people started offering me negative roles. In Janam Janam Ka Sath, I play a character with many layers and am glad that the makers have offered me such an interesting role. After my last show Tashn-E-Ishq, it has taken me a long time to get back, so it has to be a quality role.”
