Philanthropic Ways Of Mr Ronnie Rodrigues, “The Giver”
In this world there are a very few people who get happiness in ‘giving’. Take, for instance, the case of Mr Ronnie Rodrigues, owner of Pearl Group Of Companies and editor-in-chief of a film glossy, Cine Buster. He’s is a ‘giver’ and gives whole heartedly. Without any bias against any religion, he celebrates Diwali too with the same enthusiasm of celebrating Christmas. He is a kind of person who derives happiness in giving. Moreover it’s never contrived. The thoughtfulness is also commendable because he plans everything in advance. He royally gives and loyalty is expected.
This year is marred by corona virus pandemic and all were compelled to sit at home. During the lockdown period Ronnie sir made arrangements of essential things for the needy, including financial help. Sometime back, during compelled lockdown, his friend’s friend was needed to be hospitalised and did not have money for treatment. On his friend’s request Ronnie sir made sure that his friend’s friend is admitted to a good hospital and everything is taken care of. The help was in multiple six digits and mind you the person is still unknown to Ronnie sir.
About celebrating Diwali, he compels all his staff to buy new traditional clothes from reputed boutiques ‘Raas’ and ‘Kora’ situated at santacruz west. This year too, though pandemic struck, was no exception. All were dressed up in traditional attire’s for the Diwali office-pooja and were presented with sweets, dry fruits etc and a fat bonus. This year too he first invited all the cleaning staff of building where the office is located and presented them sweets, dry fruits etc and some cash, so that they too can celebrate Diwali nicely. (Importantly, no discrimination here too, as office staff and them got the same gifts) Even the entire security staff of the building too gets the same treatment.
The entire office staff is grateful to Ronnie sir and wish him Happy Diwali and a prosperous New Year in unison.
