‘Planet Marathi’ launches it’s first Marathi web series
The wait for the first Marathi OTT platform ‘Planet Marathi’, which has been much talked about and awaited for the last few months, has finally come to an end. Though the name of the webseries is still is kept under wraps, it stars Mrunmayee Deshpande, Shashank Ketkar and Abhijeet Khandkekar in the lead roles and Anand Ingle will be seen in the guest role. Produced by Santosh Gujarathi and presented by Viplava Entertainments, the web series is written and directed by Mayuresh Joshi. Earlier, Viplava Entertainments had released popular series like ‘Rudram’, ‘Katti Batti’ and ‘Knock Knock Celebrity’.
Mayuresh Joshi has already given many meaningful webseries till date. So in this webseries too, the audience will definitely get to see something diverse and interesting. While talking about it, Mayuresh Joshi says, “Filming of our webseries has started already and we are all very much looking forward to working with the new team. All are my acquaintances so it will be a lot of fun working with them. Basically, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Shashank Ketkar, Abhijeet Khandkekar are all talented artists, so it will be very easy to work with them. Speaking of webseries, we will not reveal the name of this webseries so much, I will just say that it is a very unique love story, which will be seen in Marathi for the first time. The main thing is that we are more than happy that this webseries will be aired on quality platforms like ‘Planet Marathi’. Every director expects his work to reach audiences all over the world and this expectation will definitely be fulfilled through ‘Planet Marathi’.”
