Pranitaa Pandit joins as the joint secretary of Delfic Council Of Maharashtra!
#PranitaaPandit has become the joint secretary of #DelficCouncilOfMaharashtra. She will be supervising the coordination between the members and the council’s activities on a daily basis. The actor will also assist and help the board in formulating decisions and policies and be part of committees that are important for the council’s overall growth.
“The objective of the Maharashtra Delfic Council is to promote art and culture of the state as well as everywhere else in India by organising platforms, forums and mediums where artists, art lovers and other stakeholders can participate. One can actually learn, enjoy and use this as a platform for their own glory,” says the actor known for her performance in TV shows such as Kasam, Kawach, Uttaran and Jamai Raja.
About how she became a part of the council, Pranitaa goes back to the time when it was formed. Her friends who were a part of the council approached her because of the actor’s inclination towards art and culture.
“As an actor I’ve also been a follower and admirer of all kinds of arts. I am also interested in historical values and heritage. I’ve also done a lot of documentaries and things like that where we’ve spoken about art and culture, so my friends knew me well and they felt I was the right fit for it. An actor is a product of the surroundings. Our expressions are directly proportional to the subcultures and the cultures we thrive in. Our observation skills are extremely high which is how we bring life into the characters that we play. Therefore, as an actor the observation that I have about society, people and about various other things will play a very important role in my work as a part of the council,” she shares.
The logo unveiling of Delfic Council Of Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan is on September 21 at 11 am. It was a historical occasion for us because the honourable Governor of Maharashtra will be unveiling the logo. The fact that a new body has been formed with a bunch of new enthusiastic, cheerful, happy art and culture lovers, makes the occasion all the more special. This logo unveiling will give us a moral boost,” she says.
Pranitaa recently met the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Sharing about her experience, she adds, “The honourable Governor of Maharashtra is an extremely wise and senior person. He must have seen decades of political as well as public life. He’s somebody we all look up to and admire because he has the ability to articulate the vision of the central government and manage a state like Maharashtra so well. I had a very good experience. He was warm, kind and friendly. I feel that the more such people are in positions of authority, the more we prosper.”
