Prashant Bajaj believes that the entertainment industry must give different flavours to people so that they don’t get bored
Prashant, who has essayed many cameo roles in “Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”, mythological on-stage musical drama called “Ramleela” with superstar Ajay Devgan for Life Ok, “Ayushmann Bhava”, thinks the OTT platforms have created many opportunities for creative people and is in favour of digitalisation of the industry. “It’s an opportunity for an actor, director, producer everyone to create something catchy and give different flavours to people so that they don’t get bored and are glued to their seats,” Prashant says.
During the nationwide lockdown phase due to the coronavirus pandemic last year, Prashant says online platforms came to the rescue of TV and film industry as it continued to provide entertainment to audiences during such grim times. “It’s OTT and YouTube which helped people to pass out lockdown stage with amazing series to watch for so it’s a wonderful step to digitalise this platforms,” he adds.
He says he is open to acting in all the mediums of the entertainment industry be it TV, films or OTT. “Exploration never stops as this life keeps on moving. So, I believe one should explore whichever field or medium he/she can do justice towards his/her character,” Prashant signs off.
