Punyashlok Ahliyabai actor Shruti Panwar believes that it is important for parents to invest in their children at the right time!
#SonyEntertainmentTelevision ’s magnum opus, #PunyashlokAhilyabai, has always received immense love from viewers for its captivating narrative. The show depicts the inspirational tale of a noble queen #AhilyabaiHolkar who brought peace and prosperity with her wisdom. The show currently revisits an interesting chapter of Ahilya Bai’s life that changed the fortune of Malwa forever with ‘Sanskaar denewali ma se zindagi denewali matoshree ka safar’ in the ‘#MaaseMatoshreeAdhyay’. In the show, actor #ShrutiPanwar who portrays the pivotal character of #GautamaBai believes that it is important for parents to invest in their children at the right time.
Gautama Bai has always had a soft corner towards her son Khanderao and was insecure about Ahilya’s presence in his life, but things are different now. She does not want Ahilya to be lenient with Malerao and Mukta bai for their own good. Gautama Bai is a loving grandmother but at the same time is strict with her grandchildren as she wants them to be disciplined and responsible. She believes in imposing some restrictions to protect them from doing wrong things or going the wrong way.
Sharing her thoughts on the same, Shruti says, “It’s surreal to have gotten the opportunity of reliving the glorious life of such a legend. There’s so much to learn, so much to be inspired from, so much to inculcate. The storyline showcases Gautama Bai being strict towards her grandchildren but at the same time striking a balance. I believe with every freedom given to a child, it is important for parents to be a little strict. A little bit of strictness can go a long way in encouraging them to the good things. Parenting involves disciplining and guiding your children, which is one of the toughest and most fulfilling tasks in the world. Parents are like friends to their children too… sharing is very integral.. and this I say being a parent in Real life.”
