PWG wins big at SWA elections!

The Progressive Writers Group (PWG) once again scored a triumphant win by winning all 31 seats in the Executive Committee of the Screenwriters Association (SWA) in the General Body Elections held on 18th April, 2021. In a first, the SWA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Election were held online owing to the current restrictions because of the COVID pandemic.

While veteran writer Robin Bhatt retained his position as the President of the Executive Committee, Zaman Habib was elected as the new General Secretary for this term. The new executive committee includes writers like Saket Chaudhary, Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh, Saiwyn Quadras, Anjum Rajabali and Vinod Ranganath, among others, plus lyricists Shellee, Abhiruchi Chand, Puneet Sharma and Hussain Haidry.
