Ram Kapoor’s witty one-liners and colourful personality brings flamboyance in ‘Jubilee’!

#RamKapoor’s character in Amazon Original series Jubilee has captivated viewers with his portrayal of a Savvy financier, winning over audiences with his charming wit and endearing personality. Mr. Walia’s witty one-liners and colourful personality brings flamboyance to this world. His character’s delightful mix of humour and compassion has made him a fan favourite.

Mr. Walia always addresses Madan Kumar (Aparshakti Khurana) as, “Madan Kumar, Bhench*d” whenever something goes south for him. This has now become a catchphrase, with fans using it to express their own frustrations and exasperations. Whether he’s dealing with business rivals, or personal challenges, Mr. Walia always manages to keep a smile on his face and a clever retort at the ready. It’s no wonder audiences can’t get enough of this lovable character.

On his transformation journey, Ram Kapoor Shared, “For Shamsher Singh Walia, I realized that I must bring that Punjaba inside me out. I must be as punjaba as I can in terms of body language, with my abuses, my obnoxiousness, everything. And that is what I did, I just enhanced my inner obnoxious side to the absolute maximum. And the reason I could do that is because I trust Vikram tremendously because I worked with him in his very first movie Udaan. So, there was tremendous trust between him and I. So, I knew that I could go as crazy as I want, because he is there to control if I go overboard. That was my process and that was how I worked on the character of Mr. Walia.”
