Aditya Ranoliya said, “I have worked as a cartoonist for Dainik Jagran newspaper. When my grandfather used to narrate things related to the riots of 1984, that pain got stuck in my mind. And at that very moment, I had decided that I would make a movie based on this true incident. I started writing its story four years ago. I went to the places where these incidents took place, did research, and filmed this film at those locations. According to the data, about 13 lakh women and girls have gone missing from 2019 to 2021. This cinema will make them feel the pain of all of them. We had auditioned more than 50 girls for the role of Suhani, but Prachi Bansal’s face and her mannerisms reflected the innocence and charm of those times, so she was selected for this role.”

Actress Prachi Bansal said, “I am playing the character of Suhani, who was separated from her parents during the riots in her childhood and lost her memory. When she regains her memory, she is a very strong and spirited girl who becomes an inspiration for the entire society. She has lived in an unknown place for 15 years and sets out with courage and enthusiasm to search for her parents, which turns into an emotional and inspirational journey. The Lost Girl will bring women’s empowerment to society.”

In this film, Aronica Ranoliya has played the childhood role of Suhani. Bhupesh Singh, Poonam Jangra, Raman Nassa, Naveen Nishad, Raveesh Singh have played important roles in the film.
